The hard part
Coastal Bend’s monthly housing reports arrived the way most associations’ do — as PDFs. Useful to download, invisible to search engines, impossible to chart, and not something a member can link a client to.
We built an extraction step that reads the figures out of each monthly report and stores them as structured data, organised by area and area type — city, county, neighbourhood. The site then publishes real pages and charts per area, per month, generated from the source documents rather than rebuilt by hand every month.
That turns a monthly download into something local media can cite and members can send to clients — and it’s the strongest local search asset most associations have and don’t use.
